Vitas, and I (Stefa) are siblings and co-owners of Green Tree Event Consultants, New England Made/Giraffe Events and Green Tree Electric. Our partnership began as kids. Our parents fled Lithuania during WWII and came to the US through Ellis Island. Starting with nothing, our parents built a small sawmill in western Maine. Our childhood, as first-generation kids, was full of stacking lumber and running (non-OSHA approved!) heavy equipment. We learned a great work ethic, what it means to have a family business, and how to move quickly from dangerous equipment.

 

Fast forward, each of us went on to successful corporate careers. As time went on and life circumstances changed, we recalled our earlier bonds and decided to join efforts again. In 1999 we went into business together with a small shell of an events company, Giraffe Events. Over time, we added a new business, Green Tree Event Consultants, to serve our growing business clients. We added team members, expanded our geographic reach, and added new services. Our company continues to have a strong family culture and cares deeply for the success of its team members and clients.

25 years later, we are so grateful for all the people who have supported us along the way and especially those who have been and are on our team.
