Green Tree Event Consultants provides high quality event expertise and services in the New England area. As a family-owned business, our organization is based on providing our clients and vendors with an exceptional level of service, graciousness, and value. Our team has produced trade shows, golf outings, job fairs, sales meetings, keynote speaking engagements, receptions, press conferences, and many other event planning and management projects. We’re particularly proud of our ability to help clients discover new sources of revenue for events, which help underwrite the cost of our services. About Our Team
Stefa Normantas - As co-owner, Stefa brings 17 years of diverse marketing and communication experience including event management, advertising, account management, public relations, editorial, and design to our clients. Stefa spent her career in Boston at Fidelity Investments working in an in-house ad agency; additional Fidelity roles included event planning for client conferences, golf outings, sales meetings, trade shows and special events. After leaving Fidelity, Stefa directed international communication initiatives at Liberty International in Boston before returning to Maine to become a business owner. Stefa holds a dual undergraduate degree in Communications/Studio Art and masters degree in Communications Management from Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts.
Stefa and her husband, Frank, have four children, Harry, Lucy, Liam, and Mikas. Stefa is the founding president of the Maine Marketing Association, a member of the Maine Public Relations Council, and the current president of the Ad Club of Maine.
Vitas Normantas - As co-owner, Vitas brings his strong local reputation and technical expertise to Green Tree. His education and corporate administrative experience with Guy Gannett Communications gives him a broad overview of what works, and how the right improvements can make a significant difference in the success of a business. Vitas has been nationally recognized for his expertise in creating innovative solutions to risk management issues. Other roles included work with Saunders Brothers in Westbrook and Lumberman’s Underwriting Alliance of Boca Raton, Florida. Vitas and his wife, Sheila, have two children, Marie and Sophia.
Peter Myer - Peter, the VP of Sales, is involved in many aspects of event management and planning for Green Tree. With a diverse marketing background including radio and TV advertising sales and promotions, Peter utilizes all of his skills in working with business owners and decision-makers looking for ways to profit from their marketing efforts. Peter finds joy in his wonderful family, (wife Erika, children Colby, Morgan, and Molly,) being a Maine native, and spending a sunny day on the golf course.
Jessica Smith - Jessica is the Logistics Producer and the hub of the office. Her account management work is instrumental in each project. Graduating from the University of Southern Maine with a major in Communication, Jessica focuses on the key details of events and client management. In addition to her strong writing and communication skills, Jessica has a strong background in customer service. Jessica has found a new pastime in her participation in the World Adult Kickball Association and is a staunch New York Yankees fan.
